Franco-Kenyan Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency
Inaugurated on 5th June 2024 at PC Kinyanjui Technical Training Institute.
The inauguration of the Franco-Kenyan Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency took place in the presence of distinguished dignitaries, including chief guest Mr. Arnaud Suquet (French Ambassador to Kenya), Mr. Ifeanyi Odoh (CEO Schneider Electric Kenya), and representatives from the State Department for TVET (SDTVET).
This flagship Centre of Excellence is a trilateral partnership between the French Ministry of Education, the Kenyan Ministry of Education, and industrial global leader Schneider Electric. It trains instructors and students from across East Africa in solar PV engineering, smart grid automation, building energy efficiency, and industrial automation.
